FOLLOWUP

John Newlin married (13 Nov 1745) Mary [Pyle], daughter of Nicholas Pyle. [book-genealogy-of-the-sharpless-family-1887, book-genealogy-of-the-woodward-family-1879]

Mary Pyle may have been born about 1724 in Concord Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, died about 1790 in the Haw River are of Almance County, North Carolina, and buried in Spring Monthly Meeting Cemetery, Snow Camp, Alamance County, North Carolina. He and Mary Pyle may have married 13 Nov 1745 (or maybe 13 Sep 1745 if the creators of a 1930 memorial plaque erred in their treatment of the 1752 Gregorian calendar adjustment in England). (from a Find A Grave memorials, #18791419, #18791433)
