The surname Knudson is an alternate spelling for Knudtson, which is shared by both his father and brother, but a record hasn't yet been found that has this latter version of the name applied to Oscar.
An index of Wisconsin births identifies Oscar Knudtson (b. 13 May 1902 in Drammen, Eau Claire, Wisconsin) as the son of Helge Knudtson and Bessie Peterson. Obtain a copy of the birth certificate itself.
