Research Notes (Conflicts/Spelling/Followup)

FOLLOWUP

Seth may have been born in Randolph, NC.

William R. Pennington (26), Anna Pennington (25), and John Pennington (1) were living with Seth and his children in 1850. Were they related to the Hocketts? Were they friends? Or were they simply borders? Presumably John was the son of William and Anna, but this would need to be verified. [census-us-1850-ps-oh-clinton-clark-254a]
