Research Notes (Conflicts/Spelling/Followup)
CONFLICTS
Birth Date: This database uses 9 Apr 1936. The 1950 US Census gives an age of (14), which, when applied to the official census date of 1 Apr 1950, gives a birth date range from 2 Apr 1935 to 1 Apr 1936. If the date of the enumeration (12 Apr 1950) was (incorrectly) used instead of the official census date, this conflict goes away. [census-us-1950-p1-mn-clay-18-11]
FOLLOWUP

In addition to his wife and two of his daughters, Don was survived by four granddaughters {private}, sisters-in-law {private}, and a brother-in-law {private}. [obituary-donald-marks-2023]
The timing given for the lengths of time between moves from 1964 to 2014 don't work out exactly, possibly due to use of approximations in the lengths of time at the locations. [obituary-donald-marks-2023]
