Research Notes (Conflicts/Spelling/Followup)
FOLLOWUP
Rachel may have been born in 1722 in Radnor, Chester County, Province of Pennsylvania, and died in Belmont County, OH.
Her mother is probably Margaret Hughes of Darby, according to the latter's will (11 Dec 1755, proved 26 Nov 1783). If so, she had sisters Rachel Evans (?) and Cathrine Huston. Rachel is only identified as Rachel Maris, and son-in-law James Maris is also mentioned. I don't have a copy of the actual will, this is from an abstract. This may also relate to another James Maris (b. 1711).
