Notes:

Theresia immigrated from Germany in 1872, and was not naturalized before 1900.

Following her husband John's death (prior to 1920?), she was living in the home of her son Joseph, possibly the same home in which she had been living when John died.

The families of her son-in-law John Brech, and his brother Peter, were living on neighboring farms near Cottonwood [Jackson County, SD].
