FOLLOWUP

On his WWI draft registration card, William's employer and occupation were identified as being in Berlin Township. While this township no longer exists, there was a Berlin Township in the northeast corner of Douglas County (found in a 1909-era atlas) where the county borders Davison County to the north and Hutchinson County to the east.
