FOLLOWUP

Mary's middle name may have been Romine. [research-a-spear-family-history]

Mary's location in 1900 is defined as Lake Arthur, Ia in husband David Spear's obituary. However, I can't find a Lake Arthur in Iowa. There does exist a town by that name in Louisiana. Was Mary from Louisiana, or from Iowa but a town with a similar name? [obituary-david-spear-1917]
