His mother may have been Georgia Elizabeth (_____) Englemann, who died 18 Mar 1943 after a period of ill health. (from the 18 Mar 1943 issue of St Joseph News-Press, St. Joseph, Missouri, page 4, col. 3) Also from that story, Lawrence was with the U. S. Marines.

Lawrence's middle name may have been Joseph and he may have been born in 1923. [research-a-spear-family-history]

Lawrence Eglemann and Grace Vondracek, both residing in Lincoln, obtained a marriage license, as reported in the 29 Dec 1959 edition of the Argus Leader (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), page 2, column 5.
