Born and raised in Carthage Mo. She was very active in school. Kate played

basketball usually against the boys. She played the organ at few churchs in

Carthage. She was  a tall and slender girl with long wavy red hair.

In the middle of 1918, she took ill. At that time they thought it was scarlet fever.

Janury 23 1921 she pass away in Kansas City Mo. She had lived in Kansas

City MO. for 12 years.

Kate is buried in Park Cemetery in Carthage Mo.
