Rebecca may have been named Rebecca Hoopes Maris. [interview-{private}-2007]

Rebecca is identified as George Jenkins Maris' sister and still living in George's obituary. However, she is given a middle initial of 'H' (Mrs. Rebecca H. Smith). If her middle name was Hoopes as noted above, this is correct and the 'K' middle initial is in error. Otherwise, the 'H' is in error in the obituary. [obituary-george-maris-1915]

Rebecca and her sibling George appear to have married siblings Nathan and Mary Smith.
