General Notes and Anecdotes
Every year (at least while her children were around) Ethel would receive trunks of used "one-year" clothes from her aunts Florence and Emilie. The fabric was still in very good shape, so Ethel would carefully rip the seams, wash and iron the fabric, and cut new patterns for clothing for her children. [interview-cora-mcquisten-2007]
