FOLLOWUP
This database uses Allen D. Palmerton as his default name. However, History of the Original Town of Convcord uses the names Durant A. I suspect the names are simply reversed: the 'A' initial for Allen and the 'D' initial for Durant. The name used in the database is probably how his parents intended (since he was only 3) while the other was based on his choice as an adult. [book-history-of-concord-1883]
