FOLLOWUP

Andrew may have been born 24 Aug 1806 in Virginia and died 1 Nov 1887 in Washington County, Ohio. [research-a-spear-family-history]

Brothers Andrew and Joseph Spear appear to have married sisters, Elizabeth Hinton and Sarah Hinton respectively. However, I haven't found any explicit evidence for this yet, and their could be other explanations (cousins, perhaps, or even unrelated but with similar surnames).

The 1830 U.S. Census identifies the household as containing Andrew and one woman 20 to 30 (probably Elizabeth), one boy under 5, and one girl under 5. [census-us-1830-ps-oh-belmont-kirkwood-200]

An 80-year old woman named Ann Howell (b. Pennsylvania) was living with Andrew and Elizabeth in 1850. Was she a grandmother-in-law of daughter Eliza? [census-us-1850-ps-oh-monroe-salem-507a]

In 1860, 6-year old Frances Core was living with Andrew and Susanna. [census-us-1860-ps-oh-monroe-salem-138]

Andrew and Susana may have married 25 Dec 1851 in Monroe County, Ohio. [research-a-spear-family-history]
