After Edward Woodward's death, Sarah married (9 Apr 1760 at Providence Meeting [, Chester County, Province of Pennsylvania]) George Gilpin of Birmingham Township [, Chester County, Province of Pennsylvania]), who was himself a widower. They moved to Concord Monthly Meeting, along with her children, Lydia and Edward, by certificate dated 27 Oct 1760.
