FOLLOWUP

The Genealogy of the Sharpless Family notes that Phebe was born at Mearemore. However, I'm unable to find a reference to it. Was it, like Blakenhall (her brother's birth place) a hamlet in Cheshire, England? [book-genealogy-of-the-sharpless-family-1887]

John and Jane Sharples and their family are sometimes noted as immigrating aboard the Welcome with Governor William Penn. However, a closer look at the port records from England show that the Sharples family did not arrive until August 1682, aboard the Friendship. [book-passengers-and-ships-prior-to-1684-1970]
