FOLLOWUP
Job married Hannah Bromley and the couple settled in Danby, Vermont for a while, then moved west. [book-history-and-map-of-danby-vermont-1869]
In The Bromley Genealogy: Being a Record of the Descendats of Luke Bromley of Luke Bromley of Warwick, R. I., and Stonington, Conn by Viola Anette (Derby) Bromley, page 355, the author notes that Job died 29 Jun 1812, and married (4 Mar 1788) Hannah Bromley (b. 28 Sep. 1770, d. 17 Nov 1822). It confirms the short stay in Danby before moving west, and notes they moved to Boston, Eriie County, NY. However, it also claims that Job's paternal grandfather was Abraham Palmer. This is in agreement with The History and Map of Danby, Vermont, but is a contradiction of information from other sources. The information, including childreen Innis, Merrit, Alanson, Miranda, Willam, Gilbert, Eliza, Edwin, and Alexander, was furnished for the genealogy by Fred Allen of Auburn, NY, a descendent. See also research notes for Job's father, Gilbert. [book-history-and-map-of-danby-vermont-1869]
