Since William was the fourth known William in his paternal line, I've added [4th] to the name to help differentiate him from his fathers.
William may have been born about 1721. According to Palmer Familes of America, the exact birthdate is unknown but estimated based on his order in the will and known marriage dates. [book-palmer-families-in-america-1966]
