Patricia was engaged to Frank Sims, who was killed in an auto accident before they were married. However, they did have a child, Betty Jean (Hays) Brown (b. 15 Dec 1961, Rapid City, SD; d. 5 Aug 2020, Box Elder, SD). She later married {private} Thompson on 6 Feb 1963 in Rapid City, and had two daughters, {private}, and Monica (who died before Patricia). After they were divorced or he died, Patricia married Ed Mellen (25 Jul 1940 to 24 Feb 1994) in 1966. They had a daughter {private}.
