FOLLOWUP

Both of Louisa's parents were either from Germany. [census-us-1900-ps-tx-cameron-21-13b]

Could her maiden name be Marshall?

According to the 1900 census, Louisa was the mother of 14 children, only 5 of whom were still living. Losing 9 over the course of a 21-year marriage is a tremendous tragedy. If this is not a mistake in the records, it would be interesting to know the story. [census-us-1900-ps-tx-cameron-21-13b]

For comments on the movement of the family (each child was born in a different state), see her husband Albert's research notes.
