Gustina's surname appears to begin "Niolt[y or z]..." on daughter Emma's death certificate, but it's difficult to make out. The cause of death is also difficult to read, but it was "sudden". [death-emma-marks-1913]
As reported in the 1900 census, Gustina had borne 8 children, but only 7 were living, and 6 were listed. Mathilda is not listed, but since she was 21 and likely married or at least independent, she might have been out of this household. The dead child may have been born in the longish period between William and Lena (maybe about 1890) and died before 1895, since they aren't listed in the 1895 census.
