SPELLING
Surname: This database uses Fagerlie. A 2006 interview uses Fargerlie. [interview-loretta-spear-2006]
FOLLOWUP
Evelyn is probably the daughter of Oscar J. and Margrethe Fagerlie In 1930 she was living in Audubon, MN with her parents and siblings, E[?] G. (15), Margrethe (13), Noris (11), Doris B. (9), Colen V. (7), Carlton (4). (1930 US Census, Audubon, Becker County, Minnesota, ED 3-2, sheet 1B)
Her middle name might be Sophie.
Is she related to Ole B. Fargerlie (b. abt Jun 1870, Norway) who emigrated in 1873? Ole was shown as the brother of Ole Sletown in the 1900 census. Presumably this should be brother-in-law.
Edward Marks Jr. and Evelyn Fagerlie were married 06/29/1932 in Clay County, Minnesota. Note that Evelyn's surname is spelled slightly differently. Certificate #0028-196. (From Marriage Certificate Search engine on Minnesota Official Marriage System.)
