General Notes and Anecdotes

Collene often said that working in Cody, Wyoming after becoming "empty nesters," where she cooked for many ranch hands and helped to care for a large collection of exotic birds, was a very happy time of her life. [obituary-collene-prickett-2017]

Connie was an artist, working mostly in oils and acrylics, and completed many paintings for family and friends. She was also a seamstress and made most of her children's school clothes, her daughter's prom dresses, and formal wedding gowns. She is also reputed to have made the best apple pie.
