Alfred and Anna were married by Howard Brown, a minister of Friends Church in St. Joseph. The marriage was witnessed by Perry Rees and Miss Laura Cook. [marriage-wilson-hockett-1896]

In 1911, Alfred acquired 159.25 acres in Jones county, northwest of the Murdo township. [land-alfred-wilson-land patent-1911]
