FOLLOWUP
Did Irva marry Daniel A Stolts on 16 Jul 1938, when both lived in Hill City, SD? Their marriage place is only given as Pennington County. (from South Dakota Marriages database on Ancestry)
After she married Stolts also appears to have married and change her surname twice more after William McCullough. First to Davis (before Nov 1955) then to Smith (before Aug 1959). She then changed back to McCullough on or before 19 Apr 1990. It seems unlikely she married another person by that surname, but why would she change back to that rather than to Allgier? In all of these, she appears to have kept her middle name of Mae. (basic details from the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims index 1936-2007 on Ancestry; this is a text only database, and contains no document images)
Irva had a daughter, {private} who survived her. [obituary-irva-mccullough-1990]
