FOLLOWUP

He was survived by his sister Erma Davis (Frontenac, KS) and brother, W. A. Hohn (Grand Marias, MN), and preceded in death by another sister and brother.

Regarding the location of his death, as of 2024, there is no Kadoka Hospital, but there is a Kadoka Clinic. The only hospital on the Kadoka city website's health services page is "Philip Hospital", which is probably Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital, about 22 miles distant, in Philip. Also, his residence seems to have been Philip since 1929; he moved there in 1929, he lived and was married there in 1941, and both his obituary and the SSDI shows his last residence as Philip. So why would he have died at Kadoka? Possible answers, the obituary is wrong, or he was visiting in Kadoka at the time.

Is Elmer a second cousin to the P. John Hohn and Sybilla Breuch children?
