FOLLOWUP
Claire is the daughter of August and Georgia F. Dennenwaldt An obituary for August J. Dennenwaldt (70, d.11 Feb 1955) is in the Redwood City Tribune, Redwood City, California, 12 Feb 1955, p.2, c.3. An obituary for Georgia F. Dennenwaldt (86, d.12 Oct 1968) is in The Times, San Mateo, California, 15 Oct 1968, p.35, c.4.
Some online obituaries give Claire the surname Lammon. Could Lammon have been a previous husband? (Raymond is mentioned as Clarie's husband in her obituary, so it's unlikely Lammon was a suceeding husband.)
Did she have a sister Dorothy May _____ (56, d.12 Dec 1959)? Clare's obituary mentions a late sister, Dorothy Rutzen. [obituary-claire-leahy-1974]
There is also a wedding description of {private} Rutzen and {private} Smith in 1957, and both Sr. and Jr. Raymond Leahy were part of the wedding. In particular, her uncle Raymond Leahy Sr. "gave" her away, presumably since her birth father was either dead, divorced, or otherwise estanged from his daughter. Is the bride Dorothy May's daughter? (Redwood City Tribune, Redwood City, California, 15 Jun 1957, p.7, c.1)
