FOLLOWUP
Most sources found to date spell her name Matilda, though there are exceptions that are considered normal alternates. For now, this spelling appears to be predominate in the records (including a probable entry in a city directory, not included in this database), and may be the form she preferred, if she preferred any. Note that the name derives from the Germanic name Mahthildis, but since she was born in the United States, she was presumably given the English form at birth.
Matilda's middle name may be Taurine. Her unsourced Find A Grave memorial text also notes that both her birth and married surnames are Aggerholm. She may have been born 4 Sep 1867 in Houston County, MN and died 19 Jan 1948 in Clay County, MN. (Find A Grave memorial #79113890)
