Russell and Doris Bull met as a result of their passion for square-dancing, a recreation they continued for years after their wedding. [obituary-doris-bull-2013]
Doris was a foster parent for over 12 years, and fostered 78 children. [obituary-doris-bull-2013]
She participated in Bluebirds, Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts, and 4-H as the parent of children in those organizations, and she enjoyed crafts, gardening and sewing, winning awards for her quilts. She also collected dolls and created elaborate cakes for community events. [obituary-doris-bull-2013]
