Death Date: This database uses 20 Jan 2005. A family note defines that year as 2006. [family-john-louise-brech-notes-2007]

FOLLOWUP

In John Brech's obituary in December 1946, Estelle is indirectly noted as living in Newcastle, Wyoming. However, in September 1946 she was living in Pierre, South Dakota, and after her marriage in 1947 she moved to Rapid City. In addition, she was living in Missouri in 1950, before moving back to Rapid City in 1960. This needs to be clarified. [obituary-john-brech-1946]

When Estelle was married to James Freier, she was likely only 17, but reported her age as 18. Note that when she married Lawrence Hoover almost a year (!) later, she was still 18. I haven't found any divorce records for either Freier or Hoover, but in the marriage record with Hoover, she identified herself as divorced. [marriage-freier-breck-1946, marriage-hoover-freier-1947]

William Taylor and Estelle (Brech Freier) Hoover may have been married 21 Nov 1959 in Sublette, Wyoming. Certifcate number 2728. Unfortunately, the only record I have found (on Ancestry, FamilySearch, or Newspapers.com) is a list with very little information (or even column titles), and attempts to look up a certificate on the Wyoming vital records site results in bad links. A visit to the archives in person may be required. (Wyoming State Archives; Barrett Building; 2301 Central Avenue Cheyenne, WY; parking from Warren Ave.) (from Wyoming, U.S., Marriage Records, 1869-1971 database on Ancestry, citing Wyoming State Archives, Death, Marriage, and Divorce Index Cards, Earliest Years up to 1967.)

Estelle is survived by three sons {private} and three daughters {private}. [obituary-estelle-taylor-2005]
