Research Notes (Conflicts/Spelling/Followup)

FOLLOWUP

The obituary of Leona's father (John Brech) includes all 9 of his 10 children that survived his death in 1946 (Theresa died before this). All of the names are matched with his actual children (though with spelling errors in four of his diaughter's husband's surnames) except for Lenora of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This is almost certainly a misspelling of Leona, but it also has the wrong residence since she lived in Cottonwood, South Dakota, west of the river, in 1946. [obituary-john-brech-1946]

Fred and Leona had three sons: {private} and two daughters {private}. [obituary-leona-kury-2011]
