FOLLOWUP

In the 1900 US Census, Adrien (Louis' father) was born in France. In the 1910 US Census, he was born in Louisiana. [census-us-1900-ps-la-orleans-48-20b, census-us-1910-ps-la-orleans-118-18a]

There is a marker for *an* Adrien Guillemet, who died 25 Nov 1942 and was buried in Saint Louis Cemetery Number 2, New Orleans, Louisiana. (Find A Grave, memorial 198890564). However, the marker has no birth date and no other information, other than the name of Anna G. Justin (1917-1992), who is unknown to this database.

Adrien and Josephine (McCarroll) Guillemet may have had another child, Bertha, who married Charles Perry (son of Charles Perry and Olivia Murphy) in Orleans Parish, LA on 11 Jul 1895.

A possible child of Adrian and Josephine is Josephine Guillemet (born 1 Jan 1889 in New Orleans) applied for a passport in 1921, naming Adrian (born in Bordeau, France, emigrated from port of Bordeau on or about 1871, naturalized, died about 1889) as her father.
