FOLLOWUP
The entry for George Jenkins (son of David and Sarah's son Owen) on page 48 of A Memorial and biographical record of Iowa (Chicago: Lewis Pub. Co., 1896) states: "When Owen Maris was a young man he removed with his father to Jefferson county, Ohio, locating near Mt. Pleasant, where they were among the pioneer settlers." No mention is made of Sarah. Presumably this was before they were married in 1780.
