FOLLOWUP
She may have been born 25 Jun 1851 in Anderson County, Tennessee. [family-bible-register-joseph-and-sarah-spear]
A family bible registry indicates that Samanth[a] Spear was married to Samuel H. Fisher, who fathered son Harv[e]y Fisher. However, except for Samantha being the mother of Harvey, all of the evidence I have found so far either provides no evidence for this, or more often, explicitly contradicts it. This does call into question when the record was added and who added it. Note that the husband's name does seem to be a later addition to the record and in a different hand than the wife's name. [family-bible-register-joseph-and-sarah-spear]
A family bible register claims she died in Hill City, SD. However, this seems very odd, with no other evidence for her being in Hill City, and almost no evidence that anyone in the family was even in South Dakota around 1915. The only exception is her son Ernest, and he was east of the Missouri river. Most family seems to be in Kansas, Nebraska, or Colorado. If she was traveling and died on the trip, that could be a valid reason, but I haven't any evidence for that either. [family-bible-register-joseph-and-sarah-spear]
